From the onset of the Israeli state which has implemented multiple atrocities on the Palestinian people they have relied heavily on not being challenged by using their victimhood of the past as a shield. No more, since it has become very apparent they are quite capable of severe brutality and implementing a genocide of their own. Their word is worthless, and their capacity for death and destruction and their total lack of regard for Palestinian life has become very apparent since Oct 7. No longer are they going to find unchallenged acceptance of their carnage.

‘Serial amorality will prove politically corrosive: a country whose population has rallied to defend its values as well its interests will not forever support a strategy that seems to cast those values aside. So, Biden may lose the White House, if that is the price his own electorate make him pay for supporting Israel.’ Has Michigan lit the touch paper for wider public opinion to turn against and eventually outweigh the influence of the Israel Lobby in US politics?
They are already set up to blame the fall of Ukraine on congressional republicans who cut off funding just as Ukraine was on the brink of total victory. For years, democrats will remind of us of the “stab in the back” that was the reason they lost the war.
I guess crackpot John's latest idea is: throw Ukraine under the bus and beg the dictator in Moscow to help us fight ... one of our largest trading partners which has initiated no acts of lawless violence against the USA despite its pilfering ip which it sells us.
