Actually, it's very likely that Israel has already used a "small" nuke on Tartus, on Dec. 15. Dr. Hans-Benjamin Braun, a nuclear expert, has presented 4 nuke signatures which, taken together, prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Tartus bomb was a nuke. The fact that it was a nuke can be easily verified by sending an international team of nuclear experts to ground zero. If the Tartus bomb was a nuke, it was made in the USA and its use was directly approved by Biden, and NATO did not object. I think Israel is tying to normalize the use of nukes, like they normalized bombing hospitals in Gaza, because it wants to use nukes against Iran. I think Israel has concluded that conventional bombs like MOABs, are totally inadequate for that purpose. One 0.3kt nuke as was used in Tartus is equivalent to 27 MOABs, each weighing 21,600 lbs. By comparison, one 0.3kt nuke weighs a few hundred pounds. The B61-12 nuke, which NATO possesses and F-35 are equipped to carry, has a dial-in yield that starts at 0.3kt. Coincidence?
