I have yet to find anything that John Mearsheimer has said to be anything but the truth. And this is why if we were smart we’d elevate what he has to say and his message from being an outlier in the media to more of a mainstream message. The result of not listening to what he’s had to say and not following his advice has resulted in what amounts to a cardinal sin. This is because if we had listened to him the world would have avoided what has amounted to a huge amount of death, destruction and suffering. And unfortunately, as he points out, there are even darker clouds on the horizon.

So true. It's why I've gone to so much trouble over the last few years to identify, and subscribe to, a number of journalists, public intellectuals, political analysts, historians, and professors that I could trust to tell me the truth on a number of subjects I'm interested in. I now get all my news through them, either on Substack or Youtube. I now only read, or watch, the corporate media to see what lies the population at large get told.

And it is very important to be aware of what those around you believe lest you be at a disadvantage, lest you be misinterpretted and lest you be misjudged--not because of your being uninformed but rather because of their being misinformed, or to be overly charitable, because of their being "differently" informed. There can be real-world consequences to such misjudgements in your various spheres of activity.

So, you think you’re living in a democracy? A thinking democracy with vigorous debate about the big questions —shall we go to war? Was there any debate about the U.S. jumping into the Ukraine and Gaza wars? I didn’t hear any. Or maybe it’s something entirely different.

Wikipedia. Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement, characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation and/or race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.

Now, substitute the word Zionism for fascism and give that definition another reading.

Yes, it fits like a glove. And the United States and Israel are joined at the hip… neo-fascist states… authoritarian, militaristic, elitist, apartheidic-to-the-core, and utterly Zionist.

Democracy, human rights, universal justice… just obsolete words.

These concepts still have to be won by the so-called People. For now they are Claw-backs, I think. A lot of road has been burned/lost. Now, we have to explain to everyone who has ceased to believe that these concepts have legs. (ex. my family, some who listen to the garbage that the Democracy Experiment has been proven to be a failure, believe it.)

The concepts have long been used to puppeteer us all. But we can turn the tables. We can take control, out of oligarchic hands. It is possible.

I received my "advanced" education regarding the nature of lies from my years working in the government. Lying and the obsession with secrecy, of course, are close sisters. Secrecy makes lying easier by reducing the number of details to be accounted for; it creates a more easily manageable number of insiders belonging to the coterie of lie keepers; it deprives institutional and external inquiring minds of clues, leads and actionable evidence; and it sets up around the nested hierarchy a moat full of alligators for punishing people inside and outside the organization who might be tempted to ask too many questions. Every time I saw managers getting that self-important, serious and preemptively angry look as they retreated into offices with doors slamming behind them, I knew that they were likely up to something that really did not comport with the agency's touted mission, goals, administrative code--and in some cases--encompassing civil and criminal law. "Emergencies" were always the excuse, à la a low-level application of Carl Schmitt's 'state of exception'. Rushing ensured that subordinates would have to violate standard operating procedures (S.O.P.s) in order not to be punished, along with the added benefit that taking of notes, making copies, photographing, recording and documenting directives were necessarily circumvented as the 𝗌̶𝗍̶𝖾̶𝗉̶𝗌̶ imperative shortcuts that could be called, 'standard operating spoliation' (fortuitously abbreviated, S.O.S.) came to the fore [as governing modes of action]. With the dissolution of boundaries between the public, the corporate, the non-governmental, journalism/entertainment and military/law enforcement, everything is fluid and controlling the flow of events is the purview of those with the largest propellor. That was probably a too-long winded detailing that could have been subsumed under the near-universal rule of government (and other) work: "Don't ask questions, just shut up and do what you're told."

I first saw John giving a presentation in 2015 or 16 where he coined the phrase 'Ukraine rump state.' Everything he forecasted has come to fruition. John's uncorrupted, honest analyses are the great harbingers of what is to come.

It is not just lies that are the problem. Unfortunately it is in a lot of people's material interest to adhere to the lies.

And the reason why Zionist Israel is the atrocity that it is. Supported in the most terrible atrocities by the US and its lackey allies and all those so-called friends whom, it appears, are happy to see Israel dragged down a truly debased hole of savagery and barbarism.

I answered this thread about Kamala Harris. It’s seems to dovetail with this. I don’t even care much about politics anymore folks. But some things must be pointed out. I’m not encouraged an epiphany will be reached however. Yea I know Rs lie too. At least they have to be sly about it tho.

Started a video on YouTube earlier today. Was blessed to start off with a Koala video/ad.

She said “DT and his SCOTUS justice attacked the reproductive rights of millions of women in America.”

What in the living fuck is that statement supposed to mean. After my blood reached a normal temperature I began to reflect. it didn’t take long for it to reach the boiling point again. It’s infuriates and sickens me that people do NOT hold people like her accountable for such crazy statements.

The sad and angering conclusion is that it’s not Kamala who is the problem. It’s your every day average/ordinary Democrat voter. And that is a stone cold fact. People like her don’t bat an eye before unloading such a massive amount of horseshit. Why should they?

Obviously the media is the biggest problem here. But these goddamn NPCs continue to trust them like the zombie pieces of brain dead shit they really are.

Thank you John for giving me a platform to unload my thoughts. You do great work sir!

Did or did Donald Trump not support the making of Abortion illegal? I am Anti Abortion but it's not my choice to make ! It's the Woman's Choice or it should be. Would you want your Wife or Daughter to Carry a Rapists fetus? Would you want your Wife or Daughter to carry a Fetus knowing it would be Stillborn? Or worse ie by carrying the Fetus Both Would Die? That's why it should be the Woman's Choice! NOT the Law's nor a man's!. I'm a Brit and thankful I don't have the options you in America had, Now you have a "Woman" who talks sense is it her statement you are against? Or the fact she is a Strong Woman? Or is it you don't like her Colour ? I don't know, what I do know is I wish that here in the UK we had someone like her as an Option for PM.

I don’t give a rat’s ass about abortions. The point I am trying to make is look at all the dumbasses that do. They fall for it every single time lol. Has what Trump and SCOTUS done affected anything? No, it sure hasn’t.

I have lefty friends I chat with now and then. These are good people who will think logically about issues. I also have family who vote D. My lefty friends corroborate what I am about to say. I know because I am stealing from them. “Middle of the road/moderate democrat voters are the most dangerous people on the planet.” This is true. I have been under the impression it was vice versa for many years.

It really comes down to these people having NO spine. Complete human doormats trying to be liked by the rest of the herd. I know, I dated one for a while. It’s mind boggling how willingly and how far they will go to obfuscate the truth in their own minds. This is the part where you tell me all truth is really doesn’t exist. And this reply where I will tell you what Kamala Harris said about Trump destroying women’s reproduction abilities is a complete load of bullshit. Yet there are plenty of women who will go vote overt this retarded canard. Not understanding that instead of “fighting the man” that they are merely a useful idiot for “the man” (corporate/big govt interests).

I can’t speak for John or Sachs. I think both men have a good heart. They are true liberals, tho I hate boxing people in. I have listened to enough of their podcast to assume they really are taken aback by the media’s behavior as of late. And I am telling you and them it’s been a long time coming. This has been building up to crescendo since I started paying attention in the early 2000’s. I am actually shocked by the people who are shocked because the writing has been on the wall.

To this I say, welcome to the party. It’s very dangerous when that type of shit goes unchecked. Instead of talking about imminent nuclear war we are talking about abortions and whether or not goddamn sea levels are going to rise in 100 years. Especially when the same people who keep shoveling that shit keep being wrong. And the connected ones keep buying ocean front property while the banks and insurance companies continue to underwrite it.

I hope that helps.

General statement as most Republicans have supported making abortion illegal with most debate over amount of time.

I think the big picture is our disasterous foreign policy decisions. Continued current foreign policy is Harris which will lead to more domestic problems.

Only one candidate may remove us from Ukraine conflict by withdrawing support. Most European leaders privately acknowledge that Ukraine cannot win according to recent article in German newspaper Die Welt, but not ready to say public.

Confusion/focus on some domestic issues to ignore/distract from current foreign policies. Noticed Biden been silent around recent Middle East assasinations also

It is very sad that you are obviously under the mistaken impression that they did anything other than return the decision to each individual state for THE PEOPLE to VOTE. Thus, the lie has worked. And FYI for 99% of normal people, what someone looks like doesn't mean shit. It is what they say and do that matters.

“The most serious of all forms of self-denial—not only economically or politically but metaphysically—is the denial of reality. This immense enterprise of deterrence from every historical reference, this strategy of discrediting, of divesting from reality in the form of [propaganda] parody, mockery, or masquerade, becomes the very principle of government. The new strategy—and it truly is a mutation—is the self-immolation of value, of every system of value, of self-denial, indifferentiation, rejection and nullity as the triumphant command” Baudrillard, The Agony of Power.
