As John has pointed out, the US has had the Midas touch in reverse when it comes to its foreign policy in the past handful of decades.
And what I would say is that if the president of the United States were to simply try to stay on the right side of history they would most likely find that they would get allot of support.
While it’s true that things tend to work out for those who help themselves, it’s also true that they work out even better if they try to help other as well. - This includes the natural world.
Why did Judge state that the “Jihadis wouldn’t even be photographed with Jews”? What a wildly oversimplified explanation of a militant rebel group and Zionism. I don’t think that was the best take .
In this interview, Professor Mearsheimer says that he has been invited to Russia twice, by people "at a senior level". He says he won't go and seems to cite concerns about his personal safety. I was surprised and quite disappointed. Does he really think the Russians would not gurantee his safety? I would understand if he said that he was worried about being targeted as a "Russian stooge" etc., but I was surprised that he doesn'r think he would be safe in Moscow.
