I'm curious why there is no mention of Turkey given Erdogan's rhetoric. Although his country is in NATO, his country has strong historical ties to the land of Palestine. His diplomatic moves over the past year seem to be sly as a fox and perhaps not to be discounted.

The Judge? That term is loaded. And, then this constant constant self aggradizement.

Check Brian WIlson's talk -- so so much more authentic and his story is so so much more important than some TV judge (sic) and yammering academic. I appreciate John, sure, but let's get going:

how to overthrow the kleptocratic mafia murder crew misruling moscow? simple. 1. Foment rebellion in the two dozen nations which Russia subjugated in its Eastward Expansion. This is not difficult because they pay all the taxes to Moscow AND are the "Russian" cannon-fodder. 2. Foster rivalries within the factions in Moscow, encourage Lavrov, Sakharova, and Peskov to jockey for position in the post-Putin world (he is gonna die sooner rather than later...) 3. Encourage China to liberate the "Russian" lands Russia stole from China, and get China to stab Russia in the back in every possible way. John you are not only intellectually blind you are a strategic dinosaur and, worse, are empowering Kotkin to do slipshod analysis. We finish off Moscow for the same reasons Roma finished off Carthage and to the exact same extent. Pass the salt!

As long as the Social Security trust fund is invested in these wars..... America loses and the rest of the world advances.

There is an idea to raise the FICA withholding rate by 2% on both the worker nd employer side!!!

I think a nationwide referendum should determine if American citizens pay more in taxes for wars, any wars.

Prior to the vote there will be pro-war ads paid for, and run by, those who profit from the wars.

Wouldn’t that be interesting.

I like Judge's integrity. He does not direct the answers to his questions and lets his guests speak.
