This is what insane, psychopath, Biden who is taking cocaine 24/7 did to Ukraine - due to his insatiable enmity against Russia - and who also wants to create the world war 111 is his main ambition. This insane psychopath Biden's main forte is killing, massacring and butchering men, women, children, infants, and mothers breast-suckling babies - something he gets a hell of a thrill in his life. Just look at what he has done to Palestinian people in Palestine, the beloved, historical motherland of Palestinians. Not a single hospital is standing, not a single school is standing and not a single house standing - what a shameful act he did, disgracing humanity, the human race, human dignity and human innocence. The people who did this are human, not all, not even animals!
Why do you deny the huge Russian losses on the battleground? You are only focused on the Ukrainian losses, why?
Remember the attack involving 57 armoured pieces of heavy equipment yesterday? Russians launched another attack with 3 tanks and 13 armored fighting vehicles with infantry. The 79th Air Assault Brigade destroyed 1 tank and 1 armored vehicle, and another BMP was destroyed. Artillery and drone operators effectively targeted the dismounted Russian infantry. As a result, 23 Russian soldiers were killed and 29 wounded.
Internet is full of Russian meat attacks in open ground.
NATO must provide weapons which will hurt Ruzzia so badly on the battlefield and on Ruzzian homeland. It means long distance missiles which can destroy military facilities deep inside Ruzzia. It must be priority number one, bring the war to Ruzzian cities. Let them feel the horror of war in Ruzzia.
Russia cant defeat NATO. Mearsheimer has stated this fact for the last years multiple times. Ruzzia has not the military capabilities to defeat NATO in a war.
While I don’t expect a response, I want to share my thoughts.
Recent media reports have highlighted several issues concerning Russia:
1. Russian Arsenal Depletion: According to The Economist and others, Russia’s Soviet-era arsenal is dwindling. They are running out of tanks to refurbish, and the production of new ones is insufficient.
2. High Casualties: Reports, including those from British Intelligence, estimate that Russia has suffered about 1,000 casualties per day in recent months, creating a mobilization challenge.
3. Loss of Black Sea Control: Ukraine’s sea drones have reportedly disrupted Russia’s control over the Black Sea.
4. Economic Collapse: Economic outlets like the Financial Times and Foreign Affairs suggest that Russia’s economy is on the brink of collapse.
Given the nature of war, where intelligence reports often serve specific purposes and media narratives tell particular stories, are there any sources challenging these claims? Or are these positive reports intended to bolster support for the Ukrainian war effort by suggesting imminent victory?
Perhaps I need to accept that in a war of attrition, the collapse of one side will be sudden and unexpected.
Zelensky published the first footage after the Russian rocket attack on Mykolaiv.
Hitting a playground near an ordinary house. As of this time, it is known about five injured people. Three people were killed by this attack and 5 injured.
Murdering Ukrainian civilians in Russian speaking parts of Ukraine dont make people there more friendly towards nazi Ruzzia.
I very much respect and like Prof. Mearsheimer. He has more integrity than almost all other analysts as well as administration officials. He is spot-on over his opinions on Israel, Israeli Lobby and the genocide in Gaza. However, I don't know where he gets his information about the Russia-Ukraine war - here he is completely wrong! Ukraine is not losing the war and Russia is not currently winning. Over the long term Ukraine will definitely lose if the West abandons Ukraine, but for now Ukraine is holding its own and Russia is bleeding both in terms of casualties and equipment loss. I hope the Professor is not getting his information from Sputnik or RT or Col. Macgregor because all three lie through their teeth.
May I ask why you believe Ukraine is holding their own?
They have lost countless people with no end to the death of its people in site, should they continue to fight. Even if the conflict remained a stalemate of sorts, Ukrainians and Russians will continue to die in significant numbers. If both side loose equal numbers from here on, Ukraine runs out of soldiers first. Basic math,
Putin will never allow NATO into the Ukraine because he will never accept the potential placement of NATO/US military troops and weapons along 2000 km of his border. Who would? If the roles were reversed, the US and wouldn’t tolerate or accept troops and weapons along its borders. They would threaten nuclear retaliation just as has Putin. It’s another prime example of US global hypocrisy.
If the war goes on for many years, Russia will win because it has greater population. But that can only happen if Putin calls for a general mobilization. He has not yet because he is afraid of a backlash/coup.
Putin has lost so many men, so much equipment that he is desperate and has offered to negotiate, but with unreasonable conditions. By next year after losing many more lives, Putin will be ready with more reasonable conditions. That's how the war will end.
Russia has now become so weak relative to NATO that nobody cares what Putin will accept regarding NATO deployment. He is so weak, that he has to go hat-in-hand to North Korea!
“As the fighting in Ukraine grinds on, Western policymakers and military officials are thinking ahead to the next war. Given how fast Russia is reconstituting its military, they are asking, when might it be able militarily to launch another large-scale offensive operation?”
German Chief of Defense Carsten Breuer told reporters in April that a Russian attack on NATO soil could be possible within five to eight years. Norwegian Chief of Defense Eirik Kristoffersen offered a more alarming assessment this month, suggesting that NATO had only two or three years to prepare for a Russian attack on the alliance. Recent statements by U.S. officials see little slack at all in Russia's buildup. Talking about the state of the Ukraine war in April, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Charles Brown, Jr. told reporters that Russia had “aggressively reconstituted its military force.”
To listen to these military officers it certainly doesn’t seem they think Russia’s army is depleted.
The fact that the Russians cannot mount an adequate defense in Kursk centainly suggests that the Russians are out of trained reserves. Of course, if Putin calls for a general mobilization, he could easily raise a million more troops The troops would still have to be trained and equipped. If the war continues for several more years, Russia would definitely win, but in the meantime Ukraine can hold out for at least a year and maybe two years if Harris gets elected. So Mearscheimer is totally wrong to say Ukraine is on the verge of collapsing.
I don't see any possibility of Russia accepting a frozen conflict. If NATO keep insisting on membership for Ukraine, the war continues if necessary until Russia occupy all of it. Only other option seem to be a Ukrainian surrender and NATO exit from Ukraine. In this case a semi-independent rump state might survive.
I agree 100 percent with Professor Mearsheimer. Unfortunately, it seems that those in the bubble fear that common sense will puncture it.
Primrose path that takes a sudden turn to Hell? Ukraine's fate is in US hands - not a good place to be.

Laurentiu,
if we win, it was not a mistake. That is how US approaches current status position.
Cease fire on current line is not a defeat for NATO.
How to press Russia into ceasefire?
Threatening further escalation?
There is little space left, to credibly escalate, and still not provoke nuclear war.
Still bluffing…
There is no disagreeing with facts on the ground🙏🏻

Great program! Thank you both. You are giving us an idea of what is coming in the immediate and more distant future. It is much appreciated.
Great article!
