The Chinese no more have a 'narrative" than does the West. China is doing well, and that is the usual gripe Westerners have, often subconsciously.

I'd agree with the Professor:

“the actual fighting will not last beyond 2025. The Russians will capture more territory than they now control, and there will be a cease-fire. The end result will be a frozen conflict, but you will not have a genuine peace agreement.”

There’s a prospect of a serious demographic conflict in–until recently–strongly monoethnic Catholic Poland. The settlement of millions of Ukrainian in the past few years may result in a turbo-nationalistic awakening of the ethnic Poles (the suppressed, never worked out memories of the bestial ethnic cleansing by the Ukrainians in WWII!). That turbo-nationalism may spill over to the Western parts of the continent, already restless from uncontrolled immigration from the global South.

An intellectual treat:

Roman Dmowski, father of modern Polish nationalism, on the “Ukrainian Question” in1930:

“There is no human power capable of stopping an independent Ukraine, torn from Russia, from becoming a playground for the criminal classes of the entire world, for whom there is very little room left in their own countries: capitalists in search of capital, industrialists, technicians, dealers, speculators, men of intrigue, and the initiators of every possible form of prostitution: Germans, French, Belgians, Italian, the English, the Americans—they would all find favor amongst the local Russians, Poles, Armenians, Greeks and, above all, amongst the most important of groups in Ukraine: the Jews. An independent Ukraine would pull in all of the powers of the world and rival the League of Nations for the amount of international interests that would swarm over the country. All of these dynamics, with help from the more clever and self-interested of the Ukrainians, would become the elite of the new nation-state. It would be a unique elite, because no other country on Earth except for an independent Ukraine could clairn for itself such an international motley crew of knaves. Ukraine would become a cancer on all of Europe; those who would dream of creating a cultured, healthy and strong Ukrainian nation, able to mature within its own state, would soon find that instead of their own state, they actually live in an international corporation, and instead of healthy progress, they will be the victims of destruction and rotting.”

I find CGTN is not so biased like the western satanic media. They have their agenda but not in the open lying and twisting manner and feel no shame and qalms of pushing the ziono agenda. Shameless scumbags

There is nothing wrong with being interviewed by the state media of China. But please just be aware that they do have political agenda to use only snippets of the interview to advance the Chinese narrative, just like the American mainstream media would do the same. Anyway it’s good to see Prof. Mearsheimer is taken much more seriously in China.

Nice background music on the Global Times video. (Excellent commentary by Prof. Mearsheimer, too - of course.)

How long till you figure out your so very generous Chinese hosts are using you, John?

Because they long ago noticed you want to hobble the Chinese economy and set Russia against China. Don't worry John, they're just a bunch of stupid chinks. By the way, do you prefer your beautiful young Chinese girls to be shaven? And may I ask, what is your favorite fragrance?
