Brisbane Lecture on US Grand Strategy
Below is a public lecture I gave in Brisbane, Australia on 23 October 2023 on US grand strategy. The talk focuses on how America’s deep involvement in the Ukraine war and now the Hamas-Israel war is hindering the all-important pivot to Asia.
Dr. Mearsheimer always says China is America's biggest threat but he never elaborates. What precisely are the dangers it poses to the United States? And what risks do China present to the rest of the world, especially the so-called global south that would warrant an American military engagement?
