Foolishly? Insanely.

Yep. Biden is the puppet for Blinkin:/Sullivan and the military industrial complex neocons.

One small decision by a hawkish establishment, one giant leap toward a nuclear armageddon.

From the outset, the United States and its European allies should have established a no-fly zone over Ukraine, making it clear that any missile or Russian jet entering Ukrainian airspace would be destroyed. Instead, President Biden repeatedly signaled the limits of U.S. involvement, effectively telegraphing to Putin the boundaries of his aggression. While offensive capabilities are finally being delivered—albeit a year too late—there is still hope they can make a meaningful difference.

"From the outset"? You mean from 2014, after the US couped a sovereign democratic country, installed it's own puppets, and then started a civil war against the deeply unhappy east?

Sure, the US could have *TRIED* - but not only would they have failed, having none of the military infrastructure built since 2014 in place, it would also have alerted Russia that this was an existential problem much earlier. They certainly would not have stopped and would have reversed the coup in Kiev in short measure.

You think the US has magical military pixie dust they can sprinkle in the air to bring down advanced Russian planes? This isn't broken Iraq, or tiny isolated Libya.

Ukraine is right on Russia's border, and there's not much I agree with Obomber on, but even he was wise enough to say that Russia had "Military Escalatory Dominance".

The ENTIRE Russian Establishment had made it clear this was the reddest of red lines, as Burns said back then: "Nyet means Nyet".

And oh yes - Russia has nukes. Perhaps that had escaped your notice. And they can cross continents too. You should rewatch the film 'Wargames', and remember what "Reality" means.

Before we all lose it forever.

How does US stop those missiles?

Kiev was well supplied with missile defenses, and they did not work?

In any event how would US enforce a no fly against air breathing manned and unmanned vehicles? How many F-35's could US keep over Kiev? Flying from where?

We have not seen donated F-16 sent months ago over Kiev!

In a game of ‘chicken,’ you never tell your opponent when you plan to swerve. Would Putin have risked challenging the combined aerial defenses of the United States and its allies? I doubt it—but now we’ll never know. Instead, Biden chose the worst possible compromise: providing Ukraine just enough support to fight to a grinding stalemate, resulting in devastating losses of soldiers along the way.

Richard, there is a whole library of works on Konfrontation between nuclear superpowers, mainly from fifties and sixties,.

I think you're as delusional as the neocons. The US LOST THE ARMS RACE. There is no military solution against Russia. You're done. A generation behind.

More than enough Patriot batteries, if they performed as advertised, as well as NASSMS and the EU equivalent. Well, US could have sent one or 2 of it 7 THAAD batteries, but that is for more close associations like Japan and Israel.

The integrated air defense was US provided, the composition of such is very sensitive.

And those ATACMS, and Storm Shadows are provided with very sensitive targeting and position/navigation data putting US directly in the "kill chain".

All this sent thousands of miles from anything associated wit the "common defense" used in the US constitution

Expand full comment

You DO understand that Russia HAS "challenged the combined aerial defenses of the United States and its allies" - and won handily? There are no patriots left to send, and no missile-interceptors for the ones left.

The US makes ~500 interceptors a YEAR. Russia has fired over 6000 missiles into Ukraine, and more drones than you can shake a stick at.

Do the math.

Expand full comment

When did Russia challenge the combined aerial defenses of the US and allies and win? How do you know what the US inventory of interceptors is currently? Curious what you think the resolution should look like?

Expand full comment

In the past 3 years. Do you think all those air defences were Ukrainian built? The Russia have annihilated patriot battery after patriot battery. And the German systems, and the French. They are all just scrap metal.

The inventories of US systems are well known. Even the Western media began admitting the shortfalls.

The resolution is simple. Russia will take every oblast that has voted in free referendums to join, and probably Odessa too, and Kharkov. What is left of Ukraine will be neutral, no EU or NATO. No CIA bases. It will remain the poorest country in Europe, and with the low birthrate, and catastrophic losses in the war - even higher if Zaluzhnny takes over from Z man and conscripts the teenagers to die - its future as a viable state is doubtful.

Expand full comment

Yeah, Zelenskyy, Biden and the EU have destroyed the breadbasket of Europe. It will lose the entire Eastern part of the country and most likely, end up landlocked and broken. And, don’t be surprised if Poland grabs a chunk of its former glory in the western part. Sad.

No fly zone cannot be established without either reaching an agreement or fighting a war with Russia. And that is the chief problem, US is not willing to talk with Russia, and is also not willing to fight a war with Russia. In certain schools of thought in psychiatry this simultaneous keeping two opposed positions is called double bind, and is thought to be the cause of schizophrenia. US position is schizophrenic even when word is used in a common sense meaningd.

If they implemented a no fly zone, which obviously would never be acceptable to Putin then what would the US and it's stooges in NATO do if Russia ignored the no fly zone, which is what would have happened? WWIII? This was always meant to be a long drawn out war in which the US thought it would drag Russia down the way it did in Afghanistan in the 1980's, a proxy war, that would drag on and on and on to bring down Russia. Didn't happen, and 600 thousand dead Ukrainians!

After World War II, films exist showing the dazed and disoriented People, weakly stumbling over rubble and wallowing in the field of the dead, in total catharsis of our collective madness. Could this same catharsis somehow attain an eternal affect in the human collective consciousness, working a sort of spiritual transcendence, today? Rather than only in the handful of tattered, desperate, and radioactively sick remnants of humanity, tomorrow?

Oh that a time might come when the People manage to seize their own destiny, trumping their mad leaders for the first time in human history! "Leaders" who cannot see, in their power-drunkenness, that their blind destiny is to perch, like strange vultures, over the global dead…

I think it was Sam Harris who said “as wisdom and power become more unaligned I become more concerned”.

This echoes one of my points…

One can easily identify where we should be trying to go. One can easily identify what we should be trying to avoid.

One can easily identify how to avoid what we should be trying to avoid and one can easily identify how to strive for that which we should be striving for.

This is what my course is all about. It identifies where we should be trying to go. It identifies what we should be trying to avoid. And it itself is both the road map and the vehicle to get there.

And what’s amazing is that we already have all of the tools at our disposal to get to where we should be trying to go.

And unfortunately for us, even if we do the best possible job at trying to get to where we need to go there will be some very difficult obstacles to avoid and some very high hurdles to try to overcome. This is in large part because, even if we make it through the rapidly impeding series if gauntlets we’re facing, the exponential advancement of artificial intelligence will present us with even more profound obstacles to try to overcome.

And oddly enough, following the dictates in my course is the best way to try to get over those hurdles.

So at the end of the day, my course is what we should be trying to follow…

When asked how precarious Israel is today, Mearsheimer responds by saying that in Gaza they have not defeated Hamas and there is no solution to putting an end to that war and allowing themselves to get out of there. They're stuck there. What happened to they are implementing a genocide??????????????? They are not implementing a war!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a genocide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Listen to what David J. Sorensen has to say about the relationship between Israel and Hamas in his honest, well researched testimony "The Mystery of Israel - SOLVED". He's on twitter (X). Shocking but essential information which allows us understand the evil behind irrational support for genocide.

Well, call it what you will but don't forget it is a group that Netanyahu supported for many years. The ICC recently issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu, and Gallant, because of the genocide being carried out in Gaza. and if they have their way in the West Bank as well, but in slow motion. Terrible thing, genocide deniers, and there were so many during WWII.

Why would Trumpy give two dumps about "Whether Ukraine will have a security relationship with the West"? It didn't pre-2014, and the only people upset about that was the CIA.

Nor should Trump care about who owns Eastern Ukraine/NovoRussia. What's in it for him?

He despises green-t-shirt-man as does everyone else, and the only people that will care will be the MSNDC media shrieking - but no-one is listening to them anymore anyway.

What is he going to do - continue a war to bring back Russian-speaking areas into a country they definitely want to leave?

Okay, here is the easy answer. Trump cares because his zionist Jewish financiers care. Behind every powerful, hateful jew is a family tree in the Ukraine. And they HATE Russia.

I don't think it's quite that simplistic, but it's still a good and valid point worth pondering. Fortunately, that still leaves it one level removed from Trump himself, who may decide he has more important priorities than medieval squabbles from Central/Eastern Europe. I wonder what Melania's views are on such matters.

And Iran has only one use for nukes - to take out any US attack fleet. It cannot and will not use them in Palestine, as not only are the Holy Sites there, but the country is also full of the same people they are trying to save. The only ones using Palestinian civilians for 'human shields' is the fascist apartheid regime.

But now Iran has the capability to sink any American fleet WITHOUT nukes, anyway. It has not developed ICBMs, although it obviously could easily, and has never threatened the US whatsoever - despite the deep provocations of the past 50 years

Iran simply has no need for nukes whatsoever. The sole purpose would be drive the US and Israel insane... OK, MORE insane.

The IDF is crumbling against just the militias in Gaza and Lebanon, add on a vengeful Iranian military because Tel Aviv nuked Iran, and there will be nothing left.

We will see "Israelis" falling off the last US evac plane.

Now is the moment to stop Iran’s terrorizing of the Middle East. With Israel having neutralized their S-300 missile defense systems, a joint effort by Israel and the United States could destroy Iran’s ballistic missile, drone, and nuclear enrichment facilities. This would not only make the region safer but could also topple the Ayatollah’s regime, freeing the Iranian people from decades of radical Islamic tyranny.

If one were to take my “course” one would come to the conclusion that we are in serious trouble as a species. Of course anyone who’s paying attention to where we’re headed wouldn’t need to take my course it’s just that my course lays it all out in simple language.

One of the problems my course identifies is the fact that we keep enlisting the services of people who are just about the exact opposite of those who should be running the show.

Without getting into too much detail, my course would strongly indicate that the number one job of our top political leaders should be to avoid conflict and war and to keep the little guy out of harms way.

That should job number one.

(I would argue that this is the net effect of what John Mearsheimer has been teaching over them years if you extrapolate what he’s had to say).

So what do we have instead?

We have cowardly, spineless fools who are willing to send the common foot soldier to their deaths because of their total ineptitude and incompetence. Add to that the fact that their narcissism, whether it be overt or covert, leads them to be so thin skinned as to sacrifice those who represent the salt of the earth in order to protect their fragile egos.

It’s truly sickening that we allow these types of creeps to run the show and it’s a mistake we’ve been making repeatedly for a long time.

I’ve bent over backwards trying to get people to listen to what I have to say but it’s fallen on deaf ears.

The only thing more insane than that might be repeatedly poking a nuclear armed bear in the ribs harder and harder and harder until they retaliate in the form of nuclear armageddon.

(This particular class in my course is covered by M. Scott Peck, Frank Yoemans Jason Stanley, and Brian Klaas).

I would strongly urge anyone who is interested in learning how best to try to get out of the mess we’re in to reach out to me so that I can share and disseminate the wisdom that’s found in the totality of my course.
