Ukraine Derangement Syndrome
On 14 November 2025, I was on the “Deep Dive” with Lt. Col. (ret.) Danny Davis. We talked at great length about Ukraine’s steadily deteriorating situation on the battlefield and the complete absence of ways to fix the situation. Most importantly, we talked about the inability of Ukrainian and Western elites to come to grips with this reality and instead march on like everything is under control. It all seems delusional to me and Colonel Davis.
In the grand scheme of it all, the US MIC has come out of the Ukraine proxy war with some huge gains. US companies supply Europe with energy at premium prices. Also, US strong armed NATO clients to up their financial contributions which guarantee long term business for US defense manufacturers. The West didn’t bleed Russia out completely or Balkanize it like the RAND types had hoped, but I would think that certain sectors are very pleased with the results overall. If they had a soul they might feel remorse for instigating a bloody war between brother nations, but that’s not likely.
It's so ghastly that one has to begin to suspect that at least some of those cheering on and arming Ukraine actually have the secret agenda of emptying the country....
