Off to A New Year with the Judge!
On 2 January 2025, I kicked off the new year with a long conversation with Judge Napolitano on his podcast, “Judging Freedom.”
The issues remain the same, but analyzing them and trying to figure out where we are headed is as challenging as ever.
I was a bit confused by the perception expressed by Mearsheimer that the Israeli's perception of themselves has improved greatly after the attack by Hamas, understandable on some level since Israel's retaliatory response and US support has helped them feel safer. However, it has shown them to also be a sick, shallow, and highly prejudicial society, and is seen by much of the world as nothing more then that. Hard to believe that the majority of Israeli's are unaware of the negligence of their government in preventing the Hamas attack by ignoring multiple warnings, and that they are now using the attack to implement a long awaited genocide, a long time in the making. I see them as a society complicit in supporting this genocide which is unforgivable, and will be unforgettable. I also feel disgusted that we are helping to carry out this genocide and lying about it's true intentions.
