Appreciate the lectures. Was a little surprised (just a little), that Professor Yan had a good feeling for what is going on in the US. A pleasant surprise.

Do wish that Professor Mearsheimer was a little more careful when talking about the Monroe Doctrine. He greatly oversimplifies it and I think it leads to misunderstandings. I'm no Monroe doctrine expert but I know the British were involved and it did not mean what it came to mean later as US interests changed. It started off as an effort to simply keep European powers from re-colonizing Latin America. It was only when convenient that it became a doctrine that allowed the US to intervene in other countries affairs when they made a botch of things or did something we really did not like.

I would like to be able to listen to this instead of reading the transcript, is video or audio available? Thank you.
