Drifting on Gaza, Iran, and Ukraine
On 17 April 2025, I was on “Judging Freedom” with Judge Napolitano. We discussed the Trump administration’s inability to formulate a clear and coherent policy on both Iran and Ukraine, while doing nothing to end the genocide in Gaza. We also touched on how badly Trump’s tariffs have been received at home and abroad and the growing evidence that they will probably hurt the United States more than China. It was a depressing conversation, but hopefully an informative one.

Seems that the judge has a bit of skepticism about the widely accepted theory that Trump is beholden to the Israel lobby for financial reasons alone, given all the money and support that he’s received elsewhere. I share that sentiment. And yet I am completely stumped as to why he caters to Israel.
Why doesn’t he see Israel as taking advantage of the US the way he claims that other countries do.
I wish someone would get to the bottom of it. It’s as if he and others like him are hypnotized. Even Kamala Harris was beginning to acknowledge the pro Palestinian movement. Then she met with Netanyahu and made a complete about face. What did he tell her in that meeting?
What am I missing here? Why would Trump or Kamala or any American who is not from Israel be so unwavering in support for the genocide of these families in Gaza. How does that support align with trump’s assertions regarding Gov’t waste?
It’s bafflingly!
We are in deep doodoo, with a brain dead foreign policy
